Where Did May Go?

May was a whirlwind month. I definitely got a little swept up, and, once again, neglected my blog. You see, Cameron was away in China for the first half of the month. Oh wait, I did mention that in my last blog. Well, then I went away for a few days to visit Lily in Minnesota. I posted those pictures on Facebook, but here's a couple for the people who aren't Facebookers:

I introduced Lily to the greatness of food trucks - and this one was GREAT!

I got back from Minneapolis on Thursday night and Friday was off to Winston-Salem to get the tours ready to launch that Saturday. Cameron got home Friday night, and Sunday, Taste Carolina hosted a Tri Foodie Tweetup. You may recall that I attended one of these this past winter where we ate a whole pig, no literally, it was called Nose to Tail. A Tweetup is when a group of people that communicate on Twitter get together. A Tri Foodie Tweetup is when all of the foodies from the Triangle get together. They are a big deal, tickets for the events are limited and always sell out within 24-hours. I'm happy to say that our event was a blast and a big success!

With all that was going on with work and having Cameron home, but knowing he was leaving again in only a few days, and this time (gasp) for the whole summer, I was focused on only two things; work and Cameron. It was so nice having him home and we maximized each day. We enjoyed a trip the farmers market, a picnic in the Duke Gardens, went to see Thor, and on his last night he made me a gourmet meal. He's in Pennsylvania/New Jersey for the next 10 weeks living with my uncles and working for a company in Princeton called ZS Associates. Wish him luck!!!

The last picture that I'd like to share is the lovely bouquet of flowers that we got together at the market last Saturday. It's a similar bunch to the last one I posted about, but it did get Cameron and I talking about our wedding (no date or location set yet, hang in there). We both agree that we'd love to have wildflowers for our wedding - they are, by far, our favorite:
