I miss writing to all of you and miss reading the blogs that some of you write. I may have mentioned that Taste Carolina was running a bunch of tours for Valentine's weekend and even a couple on Valentine's night. They were all really fun and successful, phew! However, those tours combined with the 2011 initiatives, led to some late nights so when I found time to disconnect, I did just that, disconnected (or spent time with Cam and Riley).
There's a couple of blogs that I started, but didn't manage to finish. I'm still excited about their topics so I'm hoping to finish them and get them posted later this week or this weekend. For now, I wanted to check in with everyone so that you know I'm still alive and haven't abandoned my blog.
Spring has been flirting with us here in North Carolina. We have had a handful of 60+ degree days, loads of sunshine and the days are getting longer. Flowers were back at the Carrboro Farmers' Market this past Saturday including my favorite spring flower, tulips! We moved here in late July, and I'm sad to say that I didn't begin exploring the Farmers' Markets until fall. Visiting the market nearly every Saturday morning gives me the pleasure of watching the seasons unfold based on what's locally available. I really can't wait to see what the market offers in late spring/summer!
Great news on the home front as well, Cameron has a couple of summer internship offers! He's still interviewing with another firm, so I won't reveal any other details, but we are both relieved and excited.
Well that's it for now. I'll try not to let so much time pass between now and the next post. Miss you all!
