For now I'm meeting with my new boss a couple of times a week, running errands with her after those meetings and then tagging along on a couple of tours each week. I'm not going to give away all of the delicious restaurants and shops we stop at (for that you have to come visit and go on a tour!), but yesterday we did meet up at the Carrboro Farmers' Market and WOW, have I been missing out or what?!
As you can see from the sign, the market is open Saturdays and Wednesday afternoons. Perfect, my fridge will need to be restocked by Wednesday. I'm very tempted to do an experiment and go a full month with only shopping at markets. It would actually be possible since this market has pretty much everything you need, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be budget friendly to buy my meat at the market. Hmm, I say that, but I don't actually know that for sure, I'm going to have to investigate. Wednesday it is, where (thanks for the reminder Andreas) I intend to load up on all of my fruits and vegetables and price compare some farm fresh chicken, pig... cow, lamb??? I don't even know! So much to learn.
I was also going to blog about the bachelorette fun that the girls and I had with Becca this past week, but I wouldn't want to embarrass anyone and I have family reading this thing. I'll just say we took a very informative class, it's a good thing I've been doing yoga lately, and there are no poles at my apartment.
Cameron has finals this week so wish him luck as he finishes his first term of grad school. Seeing those panty/bra cookies and then the sentence following about Cameron and finals makes me giggle... random blog post for y'all! Oh well, thanks for reading and hope that you are enjoying Life as Nutz.
Looks like fun... a good way to save money is to eat more veggie meals :) Beans and rice can take many forms :). i have always wanted to try a pole class! Good luck Cameron, I can't believe you are at finals already!
