I have to admit that I am pretty nervous about this whole blog thing. I'm afraid that there could be entire weeks where I just have nothing interesting to say, and therefore I don't post anything at all. I worry, will my followers grow bored and tired of waiting for posts and stop visiting, the same way I stop calling people once the newness of my New Year's resolutions has worn off? Will my constant string of spelling and grammatical errors turn everyone away (read: there will be spelling and grammatical errors here and there)? I suppose that at a minimum there should be somewhere near a dozen people checking in regularly. That is the approximate size of my immediate family. And as I’ve already said, I have to make New Year's resolutions every year with the goal of staying in better touch with everyone.
Getting this first blog posted took a little longer than anticipated, mostly because I lingered over what to call it, but I am very excited to have Life As Nutz up and running. I’m sure you are a bit curious about the title, but put simply, Nutz is short for Nutter, Cameron’s last name. We have recently gotten engaged and relocated to Durham, North Carolina where Cameron is attending graduate school at Duke and I… well I’m still looking for a job (more to come on that subject in future posts). Here at Duke the fans are called Cameron Crazies, which is very fitting considering Cameron’s last name is Nutter. So between the newfound fandom, and my future last name, Life As Nutz seemed to be a perfect title for the blog.
I know that everyone has been eager to hear how Cameron and I are settling into our new lives here in North Carolina and I'm thrilled to have a channel through which to share our stories. Please leave us comments here and there to let us know that you're following, and thank you in advance for visiting.
Love it... my new years resolution and current resolution was to keep in better touch with specifically you, my darling little sister :)... also I just read my first blog ever just in the last year (a little behind the times) and my feelings about them are two thumbs up, I especially like travel blogs and blogs about Merediths..
